4th of July Celebration
The Sungate Pool 4th of July Celebration is a long-running tradition.
We start the day with a neighborhood bike/wagon decorating contest beginning at 9 a.m. and then follow with a fire engine led parade at 9:30 a.m.
Even if you don’t participate in the parade, you won’ want to miss the fire ladder to hose down the crowd.
The pool to open at 10 a.m. We will release reserved tables and chairs at 11 a.m.
If you weren’t able to reserve a chair, feel free to bring your own! There are still tables and chairs available on a first come basis.
We have a full schedule of pool races and games throughout the day. Plus we’ll have delicious food special including hamburgers, hot dogs, grilled corn on the cob and cotton candy. Plus enjoy free watermelon served by the Sungate Neighbors Inc board of directors. The concession stand will also be open for those who want to grab a drink, ice cream treat or sno cone.
Food tickets must be purchased at the front gate for specialty food items. Remember to bring small bills to help staff make change quickly.
The pool closes at 5 p.m. so your family can enjoy area firework displays.
