New Pool Admission Policy

The Pool Committee is implementing a new admission policy this year. Due to concerns of unpaid swimmers entering the pool and causing overcrowding, SNI is looking at ways to tighten the procedure at the gate this season.

welcome-pool-600x600Pool members are asked to please be patient with the new admission policy and with the gate attendants. Take the time to identify yourself and be prepared to show a photo ID to confirm your identity.

Parents, when sending unaccompanied youngsters to the pool, be sure that they know the principle name on your account, as that is how we will confirm membership at the gate.

The pool manager may ask for additional information if there is a discrepancy in the names or details presented, and may remove swimmers from the pool whose identity and membership cannot be confirmed.

Single day pool passes can be purchased at the gate for your guests. A pool member must accompany all guests. Provisions are made to accommodate babysitters for younger children.

Please bear with us while we tighten down on our membership admission process. Changes take time to implement and to become routine.

If you are aware of anyone at the pool that does not have a membership and is not accompanied by a member, please report it to the pool manager. This helps make sure the pool does not become overcrowded with non-members.

The Pool committee will continue to examine the pool admission process to ensure a quality experience at the Sungate Pool. New ways to confirm identity, which could include issuing membership cards, may be coming in the future.
