America turns 250

The the long-standing tradition continues at Sungate with the annual 4th of July Celebration.

Start the day with a bike/wagon decorating contest and children’s parade. Gather in Sungate Park at 9 a.m.; parade begins at 9:30 a.m.

The pool opens at 10 a.m. Table and chairs reservations will be kept until 11 a.m. and then released. There are still plenty of chairs available to first come.

It wouldn’t be the 4th without grilled corn on the cob, hot dogs and watermelon.
