Sungate Association Dues Increased

Sungate homeowner’s association fees are due. The Sungate Neighbors Inc. board voted to change the fees for the homeowners association. The dues have not been raised in more than five years. The board voted to raise the dues by $10 to $88 per year, or $7.30 per month.

The board felt this was necessary, as our costs to mow, care for the trees and wall have gone up in the recent years. SNI president, Chris Peterson says, “It is surprising how expensive it is to care for Sungate and it’s surprising how few residents in this very nice neighborhood contribute.”

Your annual dues help fund the maintenance of the park at 55^th St and 70^th E Ave, as well as the landscaped entrances on 51^st St and on Sheridan, as well as repairs to the brick wall.
