Annual 4th of July Celebration

Sungate celebrates Independence Day with the long-running tradition of bike decorating contest and neighborhood parade, followed by a full day of pool activities.

The bike/wagon decorating contest starts at 9 a.m. in the park, and is followed by a fire engine led parade at 9:20 a.m. Tour the fire engine and talk with firefighters while you wait for the pool to open at 10 a.m.

Enjoy pool races and games throughout the day, as well as delicious food specials including grilled corn on the cob, cotton candy and more. Plus enjoy free watermelon wedges served by the Sungate Neighbors Inc board of directors.

Food tickets must be purchased at the front gate for specialty food items. We take cash and cards.

The pool closes at 5 p.m. so your family can enjoy area firework displays. Bring your family and friends and join us for a day of pool activities, good food, and tons of fun.
